Over the past few weeks, I've been enrolled in a course with a different time zone. To catch the sessions, I had to set my alarm for 1 am in Canada and stay focused until 10 am EST. It wasn't a walk in the park, let me tell you—it was a real challenge. But there were three things that kept me going until I completed the certification.

Firstly, it was my PASSION. 

I was genuinely excited about delving into topics like Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Time Line Therapy (TLT), and Hypnotherapy. The prospect of learning and applying these concepts for myself and eventually for my clients fueled my enthusiasm. I stayed wide awake to absorb every piece of information, exploring the possibilities. Working with the unconscious mind sometimes had me questioning whether I was consciously working with it or not—quite a mind-boggling experience!

Secondly, PERSEVERANCE played a significant role. 

The initial days were fun and exciting, but as fatigue set in, I seriously considered throwing in the towel. Taking a break was necessary, and during that time, doubts crept in. Thoughts like, "Am I crazy for doing this?" and "Who asked me to do it?" echoed in my head. However, the voice of perseverance, pushing me to see what I started through, drowned out the doubts. After a restful day, I gathered my energy and pressed on, this time utilizing the support system around me.

And that brings me to the third key factor—the POWER of a support system. 

Whether it was the cohort participants creating a fun tradition of wearing different pajamas during calls, LOL, or the constant encouragement from my family and friends, their support was invaluable. They cheered me on, empathized with me when I missed a call or skipped a meal, and became a crucial part of my journey.

In the end, I did it! I'm proud of the accomplishments and the knowledge I gained from the course. 

With the three new certificates I got, NLP Practitioner, Time Line Therapy, and Hypnosis, and the whole experience enhanced by the impact I had on me, I'm confident that this will enable me to make a positive impact on my community and help my clients with the newfound learning.
